Spokeworks is looking for a high-performing, national sales manager with a passion for cycling!

If you can help us meet our customer acquisition and revenue growth targets, by keeping our company competitive and innovative, and at the same time ‘speak bike’ we want you to join our Pretoria-based team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maximize the sales team potential

• Craft sales plans for the business

• Increase growth and sales targets by managing the sales team

• Design and implement a strategic sales and distribution plan in the cycling and motorcycle industries to expand the company’s customer base and ensure its strong presence

• Coaching and performance monitoring of sales representatives

• Present sales and revenue reports, including realistic forecasts to the management team

• Identify emerging markets and market shifts whilst being fully aware of new products and competitors

• Real-time marketing research and implementation

• Travelling for the business to make daily dealer visits and sales



• Relevant marketing degree or diploma

• Passion for cycling (this is a must!)

• Minimum 5 years working experience

• Successful previous experience as a sales representative or sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets

• Ability to communicate, present and influence effectively at all levels of the organisation

• Proven ability to drive the sales process from beginning to end

• Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills

• Own car and valid driver’s licence


• Negotiable based on experience
